Jennifer came to us this spring needing brand photography and videography for the relaunch of her interior design business. She wanted to upscale, highlighting her personalized approach to each project, as well as promote herself as a valuable resource to other vendors in her industry. Also, she needed guidance on how to easily and effectively use her new imagery on social media.
Well, we know a thing or two about that, don’t we?
We’re thrilled to introduce this month’s Harmonie House Images Client Spotlight, Jennifer Harvey Interiors.
Tell us more about you, Jennifer!
“I offer my clients the perfect balance of luxury design and affordable style by creating detailed design plans for achievable custom interiors that they can install themselves. This means my clients have the final say of what goes in the final design as well as the flexibility to install the design according to their own schedule. Every item specified for the project can be purchased retail and if the item is no longer available, another item can be easily substituted since my clients are equipped with the item style, measurements, and color of each item. Additionally, because I am not associated with any particular brand, I have a full range of furniture brands and styles to choose from. I am a resource for preferred vendors, including contractors, workrooms, artists, painters, etc. who are local to the Charlotte area.”
What inspired you to start your business?
“When I was a child, I would clean my room and make it beautiful when I was anxious about anything. That pattern continued throughout my life as I like to take the messy and make it beautiful. I think that’s also why I feel so drawn to volunteering with Furnish For Good. Their ‘goal is to transform the lives of the people we serve by providing hope, dignity, and a new sense of possibility through repurposing furniture and household goods through a process of empowerment.’ “
What’s been helpful to you as a small business owner?
“I participated in a Tobi Fairley Mastermind group when I first launched that was integral to my business success. Up to this point all of my business has been word of mouth, which I genuinely appreciate and enjoy! Chief Architect, the software I use to create my design renderings, has also been vital to my business.”
Jennifer, it’s been our joy to get to know you and your business over the last several months! Getting to see for ourselves your beautiful design work on shoot day was icing on the cake for us. Your heart for making something beautiful out of something messy is such a gift to your clients and our community, and we can’t wait to watch as Jennifer Harvey Interiors continues to grow!
