Spotlight On: Om Media

WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW

We were sitting in the corner of the coffee shop, huddled together in front of the laptop, virtually meeting social media manager and owner of Om Media, Talia Blackburn, for the first time. She needed brand photos and had been given our info from her logo designer, Riley Moody (we go way back with Riley), so we were already pumped to make introductions. But it wasn’t too far into our conversation when we realized just what a great fit this partnership would be. Talia’s love of music and singing was a fun jumping off point, but her heart for serving small businesses in her community and connecting with other working moms was what sealed the deal for us. Keep reading for more of Talia’s Greensboro, NC brand session.

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOU, TALIA!

After a couple career pivots and a couple of children, I fell in love with all things social media! I’m passionate about supporting small businesses and ensuring my clients’ social media marketing feels authentic. I want the process to be simple for my clients so they can focus on the parts of business they love.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START OM MEDIA?

So many of my friends have started businesses and we all have kids and are figuring this out as we go. After creating systems that streamlined my own social media process, I realized it can be fun and simple, and didn’t have to feel cringey! I want my clients to know they can show up authentically and still be super organized. My clients don’t even have to think about their accounts because my systems are strategic and simple.

WHAT’S YOUR SECRET SAUCE?

My spirituality, hence my business name, infiltrates all that I do through intentionality, mindfulness and connectivity. I’m drawn to working mamas, creatives and artists who crave authenticity in their online presence. I support my clients in such a way that their humanity comes across in their social media while also helping them achieve their marketing goals. And I give them back their time using proven systems that are approachable and fun!

It’s been our pleasure to work alongside Talia in 2024! Not only did we create a library of brand photos she can use again and again, but Harmonie House now has a go-to expert in social media management for all of our clientele. And she’s just as genuine and authentic in real life as she helps her clients to be online. Greensboro, you are lucky to have this gem of a human in your town!
